Start, notifications, calendar, volume, Wi-Fi, and battery open from SYK Island. The Windows taskbar stays hidden from the moment you log in.
More RAM for your apps
Unused services and background apps are off, svchost is grouped, Edge stays closed in the background, and SysMain turns off on SSDs.
No ads, no telemetry
Telemetry, ads, app suggestions, Copilot, Recall, and activity history are turned off.
The web still moves
Website animations keep playing. Microsoft Store, Photos, Calculator, Notepad, and Snipping Tool stay.
Undo is one click away
A restore point is made before anything changes, and SYK Tools can revert every tweak.
Upgrade in place
New versions install over old ones. Your layout, colors, and pinned apps stay.
SYK Island
Quiet at rest. Everything when you need it.
The island at the top shows the time, network, volume, and battery, and opens into a menu when you need one. The dock at the bottom replaces the taskbar.

Lock the PC or leave it idle for 10 minutes and a large clock with the SYK logo appears. Then your Windows PIN or password, as usual.

SYK Tools
Two modes. One click apart.
Open SYK Tools from its desktop shortcut, or right-click the island.

Reinstall them if you removed them.
Risky tweaks
Search indexing, SysMain, Print Spooler, hibernation, automatic updates.
Revert all tweaks
Then open System Restore if needed.

AME Wizard asks these before installing. The defaults are safe for most people. Filled dots are the defaults.

Full debloat
Everything in Light, plus Mail & Calendar, Phone Link, Xbox apps and Xbox Game Bar, Voice Recorder, Alarms & Clock, Journal, and Widgets. Use Game Pass, Game Bar, or Phone Link? Choose Light.
Always kept: Microsoft Store, Photos, Calculator, Notepad, Snipping Tool, App Installer, and the Xbox identity games need to sign in. Anything removed can be reinstalled from Microsoft Store.

Get AME Wizard
From ameliorated.io, then open it.

Drop in SYK-OS.apbx
Drag the file into AME Wizard.

Pause Defender
Turn off real-time, cloud-delivered, sample submission, and Tamper Protection for now. Every AME playbook needs this.

Pick options, wait about 10 minutes
Windows restarts on its own when it is done.
SYK IslandSYK ToolsWhat do I need?
A plugged-in charger, and no antivirus other than Defender. Defender can stay on after installing.
Already on an older SYK OS?
Load the new .apbx, choose Yes to overwrite, click Upgrade, then Next. Your SYK Island settings stay.
Can I undo it?
Yes. Use the "Sebelum SYK OS" restore point, or Revert all tweaks in SYK Tools.
Will Xbox games still sign in?
Yes. The Xbox identity is always kept. Choose Light debloat if you use Game Pass or Game Bar.
